DLP Projectors: What is a DLP Projector?
DLP projectors use DMD chips made by Texas Instruments. The DLP chip uses reflective technology and is a superior technology. The problem with DLP projectors is that the vast majority of them use only a single DLP Chip and this reduces the brightness of the projector by a third. Other problems with single chip DLP projector is that it may cause visual problems like the 'Rainbow Effect'. 3 chip DLP projectors overcome all these problems and are the best projectors money can buy, but you do need a lot of it. LCoS Projectors: What is a LCoS Projector?
LCoS Projectors are high end projectors and are very good. LCoS uses LCD chips but reflects the light rather than letting the light through the chip like in an LCD projector.
